 Hello everyone, Jul Reindeer here. And yes, I'm starting a blog! I love history and culture, and I love sharing what I know with other people. This place will be somewhere I can info-dump on whatever is occupying my mind at the moment, and hopefully other people will enjoy!

As it's almost Christmas, I'll be kicking off this page with a series of posts about Christmas and it's history, as well as related topics like Santa, Krampus, and all about reindeer!

Once the holidays are over, expect other topics as diverse as neat animals, polar exploration, Seattle-area history, lighthouses, carousels, and more! I have so many interests!
